Whiplash Symptoms
Whiplash can occur when you are struck into whilst driving your car. What follows are whiplash symptoms which can be neck pain, stiff neck, headaches, loss of neck mobility and pain.
Spinal ligaments in the neck may be stretched creating micro tears in the ligaments which can take a long time to heal. Often the force transfers along the spine to the upper back and lower back and can be very uncomfortable with aching and stiffness as a common reported symptom
Whiplash sufferers with acute neck pain should avoid neck manipulations as it will only serve to aggravate the condition further. Manipulating the neck is another small trauma that can create further inflammation to spinal ligaments.
